New Discovery: Tierra Whack

Discovering new artists has always been one of my favorite things. Tonight, I was shown "Whack World", a visual and auditory project created by female rap artist Tierra Whack. Some of you may recognize her voice from her song "Hungry Hippo," that went viral on Tik Tok. Her lyric "he likes my diamonds and my pearls, I said 'thank you, I designed it" became an extremely popular amongst users. "Whack World" is a collection of 1 minute songs each set to a visual piece based on each song. Totalling to 15 minutes, this production has been considered a mini album, and shows her versitile style. It can also be found on streaming platforms such as Spotify or Apple Music. I was totally blown away by her style. Her creative production was astonishing, and incredibly impressive. In my perspective, this was a way for her to express her originality, and set her apart from other R&B/Hip-Hop artists. Check her out! Tierra Whack is definitley underrated. My only complaint is that the songs are so good I wish they were longer! The link to the video is below.
